Chelsea triumphed 4-3 over Tottenham in an intense Premier League clash at the London Stadium on Sunday. Despite Tottenham taking an early 2-0 lead, Chelsea mounted a thrilling comeback, with Cole Palmer playing a pivotal role.

Tottenham capitalized on two errors from Chelsea’s Marc Cucurella, with Dominic Solanke opening the scoring in the fifth minute after Cucurella slipped. Dejan Kulusevski doubled the lead six minutes later, also benefiting from Cucurella's mistake. Chelsea responded with a goal from Jadon Sancho, whose low shot from the edge of the box reduced the deficit to 2-1.

In the second half, Chelsea quickly equalized when Yves Bissouma fouled Moises Caicedo inside the box, allowing Palmer to score from the penalty spot. The Blues took the lead for the first time in the 73rd minute, with Enzo Fernandez volleying in Palmer’s assist. Palmer then sealed the win with a brilliant Panenka penalty in the 84th minute, making it 4-2. Tottenham’s Heung-min Son scored a late goal in the sixth minute of added time, but it wasn’t enough to prevent Chelsea from securing all three points.

This victory puts Chelsea in second place, with 31 points, reducing Liverpool’s lead at the top to just four points. Earlier in the day, Arsenal’s hopes of maintaining pressure on the leaders suffered a blow when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Fulham.
