Federal High Court dismisses Nnamdi Kanu’s N1bn lawsuit against FG and DSS, citing lack of evidence for claims of unfair treatment.

The Federal High Court in Abuja has dismissed a N1 billion lawsuit filed by Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), against the Federal Government and the Department of State Services (DSS).

Justice James Omotoso ruled that Kanu failed to substantiate claims that the DSS bugged his conversations with lawyers or obstructed their access, thereby denying him a fair hearing. The court concluded that the suit lacked merit and accordingly dismissed it.
