Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has come under fire from Elsa Izac, the mother of his love child, for allegedly neglecting his financial responsibilities while living a luxurious lifestyle. Izac, a former Versace fashion designer, claims she is struggling to keep up with mortgage payments on her £3 million Wimbledon home while Courtois enjoys private jets and yacht parties.
Izac, who had a child with Courtois during his time at Chelsea, says she owes £63,000 in mortgage payments and fears losing her home. Despite a court ruling ordering Courtois to pay child support, she insists the amount is insufficient to support their son’s well-being. Speaking to The Sun, she said, “I’m scared the bank will repossess our home. It’s not acceptable to see Thibaut living in luxury while his child is left in this environment.”
Courtois, who now earns £240,000 a week at Real Madrid, is married to Israeli model Mishel Gerzig and has an 11-month-old daughter with her. He also has two other children from previous relationships. His contract with Madrid runs until 2026, and he remains a key player for the club.
The dispute has sparked public debate, with some criticizing Courtois for not doing more for his son, while others argue that legal agreements should be upheld. So far, Courtois has not publicly responded to the allegations.
