Dammy Krane has been released after spending six days in police custody at the Federal Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Abuja. His detention followed allegations that he was involved in illegal activities related to Flutterwave and cryptocurrency scams. Krane claimed that his colleague, Davido, orchestrated his arrest by allegedly paying the police to detain him.
Upon his release, Krane expressed his gratitude towards the police and particularly to social media activist VeryDarkMan for their support. He apologized to Davido for the accusations he made, acknowledging that some statements were unwarranted. "I know there are a lot of words that ought not to be said. I want to apologize for this Tagbo death allegation. David is my brother, and we will find common ground to resolve everything," he stated.
