Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to N899.50 per litre, ahead of the holiday season. This price cut, effective from today, follows a previous reduction to N970 per litre in late November. The aim is to alleviate transport costs during the festive period, providing relief to Nigerians.

In addition to the price reduction, Dangote has introduced a special offer for consumers, allowing them to purchase an extra litre of fuel on credit for every litre bought on a cash basis. This offer is backed by a bank guarantee from Access Bank, First Bank, or Zenith Bank. The refinery's Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, expressed the company's gratitude to Nigerians for their continued support.

Dangote Petroleum Refinery also highlighted its commitment to providing high-quality petroleum products that are environmentally friendly and engine-safe. The refinery, with a capacity of 650,000 barrels per day, is the world’s largest single-train refinery and is fully capable of meeting Nigeria's petroleum product needs, with a surplus available for export. This marks a significant step in reducing Nigeria’s reliance on imported petroleum products, which have often been substandard and harmful to public health and the environment.
