Africa's richest person, Aliko Dangote, revealed on CNN's 'Connecting Africa' program that some international oil companies (IOCs) are struggling to supply crude to Dangote Petroleum Refinery. Despite challenges, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has been supportive. Dangote emphasized the need for Africa to move away from exporting raw materials and importing finished goods.

He also outlined the Dangote Group's robust succession plan and projected revenue of $30 billion by year-end. Additionally, he expressed optimism about the refinery's profitability and its contribution to Africa's economic growth.

Dangote previously announced that Nigeria would no longer need to import petrol starting from June, signaling a significant milestone in the country's energy independence.
