The Delta State Police Command has arrested a man identified as Benedict Toju for allegedly accusing officers at a checkpoint of stealing his manhood. According to Bright Edafe, the police spokesperson, Toju and his friends were stopped for a routine search, after which they were allowed to proceed. However, Toju later returned to the checkpoint, claiming he had experienced a strange sensation and believed his manhood had vanished.

Edafe addressed the media during a parade of suspects, stating that such accusations have been heard before but never substantiated. Toju was taken to the station, where a medical examination was conducted, confirming that his manhood was intact. Edafe emphasized the need for accountability in such cases, urging individuals to provide evidence in court if they insist on such claims.

Toju admitted feeling unusual after leaving the checkpoint, prompting him to return and voice his concerns to the officers. However, the subsequent medical evaluation disproved his allegations. The police spokesperson reiterated the importance of clarifying misconceptions and discouraging baseless accusations against law enforcement.
