Nollywood actress Doris Simeon recently shared the painful details of her child custody battle with ex-husband Daniel Ademinokan. In a candid interview on the Talk To B podcast, Doris revealed how Daniel took their son, David, to the United States without her consent when the child was only four years old. Doris disclosed that for years, she had no communication with her son, as Daniel limited her access.
Despite trying to resolve the situation through legal channels, Doris recounted how she was denied custody of David due to Daniel’s US residency. She described how the long and drawn-out court battle, lasting over four years, proved emotionally exhausting. Doris emphasized that while both parties had their faults, the most painful part of their split was being denied the opportunity to raise her son.
Doris also revealed that Daniel married actress Stella Damasus and relocated to the US with David in 2013. However, in a bid to reconnect with her child, Doris recently moved to the United States.
