Former presidential spokesperson Doyin Okupe recently predicted that Nigerians will re-elect President Bola Tinubu in 2027 to allow him a full two-term tenure. Speaking on Channels TV, Okupe suggested that Tinubu’s nickname "T-Pain" symbolizes a temporary hardship that will ultimately lead to progress and positive changes for the nation.

Okupe, previously a supporter of Labour Party’s Peter Obi, stated that if Tinubu addresses the nation’s fuel and food crises and improves electricity supply, public support for him would grow. He highlighted an implied agreement on the rotational presidency between Nigeria’s northern and southern regions, emphasizing that Nigerians would rally behind Tinubu if he fulfills these promises.

Additionally, Okupe urged Nigerians to consider Tinubu’s efforts and accomplishments in their future voting decisions.
