The group accused Nwebonyi of making un-parliamentary and inappropriate remarks, particularly his public defense of Akpabio amid these serious accusations.
Ambassador Paschal Oluchukwu, AEISCID’s president, criticized Nwebonyi’s media attacks on respected figures such as Dr. Oby Ezekwesili and the alleged victim, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan. Oluchukwu expressed deep concern over Nwebonyi's actions, which he argued undermine the dignity of the Senate and the people of Ebonyi State.
