The Kano State Police Command clarified that Emir Muhammad Sanusi II would indeed lead Friday prayers at the central mosque, contrary to rumors suggesting otherwise.

Commissioner Usaini Gumel emphasized that Aminu Bayero will conduct his prayers at the mosque within the Nasarawa Palace, his current residence. Gumel assured robust security measures at the Emir's palace to facilitate peaceful prayers led by Sanusi.
