Organizers of the #EndBadGovernance protest have announced a nationwide demonstration starting on October 1, following the government's failure to address demands from previous protests. Led by the Take-It-Back Movement, the protests aim to confront worsening economic conditions and pressure the administration for accountability.

Organizers of the #EndBadGovernance movement have announced plans for another nationwide protest, set to begin on October 1. This follows the August protests, during which thousands of Nigerians rallied against worsening economic conditions but saw little response from the federal government regarding their demands.

Damilare Adenola, the director of mobilization for the Take-It-Back Movement, emphasized that the government has ignored all the issues raised during the previous demonstrations. “We call it Fearless in October—a follow-up to the August protest,” Adenola stated. “The only language the government seems to understand is protest.”

The August protests, which took place from August 1 to 10, were marked by significant unrest, including looting and arson in northern Nigeria. Despite pleas from the government for the youth to abandon the protests, the movement's leaders remain resolute.

Adenola pointed out that Tinubu’s administration has shown no willingness to address any of the demands outlined in their charter. He added, “We have realized that protest is the only language many despotic African leaders understand.”

With the upcoming demonstration scheduled to last indefinitely, organizers aim to amplify their message and hold the government accountable for its inaction.
