After completing her NYSC service in Kebbi, Linda Chiamaka Obi was reportedly kidnapped by bandits while traveling home to Anambra. The incident, occurring in Niger State, left one passenger dead and others injured, sparking calls for improved security on Nigerian highways.

Linda Chiamaka Obi, a recent National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) graduate, was reportedly kidnapped by bandits on her journey home after her Passing Out Parade (POP) in Kebbi State.

The incident occurred on November 3, 2024, near Zungeru in Niger State as Obi was traveling from Kebbi to her hometown in Onitsha, Anambra State. During the attack, armed bandits intercepted the vehicle she was in, abducting Obi and a family of four, while also tragically killing another passenger.
