Liverpool and Chelsea sailed into the FA Cup fourth round with dominant victories, while Brentford suffered a shock defeat to Plymouth. At Anfield, Liverpool defeated Accrington Stanley 4-0, with Trent Alexander-Arnold scoring a stunning goal. Despite making several changes, Liverpool showed their strength, with Diogo Jota opening the floodgates, followed by Alexander-Arnold’s brilliant strike and Jayden Danns’ finish.

Federico Chiesa also scored in his rare appearance for the club. Meanwhile, Chelsea cruised to a 5-0 win over Morecambe, with Joao Felix and Tosin Adarabioyo both netting twice. Christopher Nkunku contributed another goal, adding to his impressive season tally.

In a major upset, Brentford, who have been strong at home in the Premier League, were stunned by Plymouth, who sit at the bottom of the Championship. A late strike from Morgan Whittaker handed Plymouth a 1-0 victory, sending Brentford out of the competition.

In other fixtures, Leicester hammered QPR 6-2, and Bournemouth bounced back from an early deficit to beat West Brom 5-1. Manchester City is set to face Salford City in their upcoming clash.
