The shocking revelations have led to his arrest and sparked widespread outrage.

Equatorial Guinea is currently at the center of a scandal involving Baltasar Ebang Engonga, the Director-General of the National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF) after shocking allegations surfaced about his personal life. Engonga, a 54-year-old economist, has been accused of engaging in extramarital affairs with numerous high-profile individuals, including the sister of the President, the wives of the Attorney General and Inspector General of Police, and many others—reportedly totaling around 400 women.

The scandal erupted when authorities conducted an unexpected search of Engonga’s residences due to previous corruption allegations. During the search, they discovered a collection of CDs, one of which contained explicit footage of Engonga and the President’s sister engaged in intimate acts in his office. This revelation prompted further investigation into his activities.

Reports indicate that Engonga is known for preying on married women, and having illicit encounters in various public and private settings. Disturbingly, it has been alleged that some children born to these women may be his. Following the explosive revelations, Engonga has reportedly been arrested and will undergo tests for sexually transmitted infections.

The fallout from the scandal has also severely affected Engonga’s family; his wife collapsed upon learning of his actions and is currently hospitalized.
