Nigerian rapper Falz has addressed the ongoing legal dispute with activist VeryDarkMan, who accused him and his father of trying to secure a presidential pardon for Bobrisky in exchange for money. Falz condemned these claims as defamatory and emphasized the need for accountability and truth in public discourse.

In a recent interview, Nigerian rapper Falz, whose real name is Folarin Falana, addressed the ongoing legal dispute with activist VeryDarkMan. The controversy erupted when VeryDarkMan released an audio recording in which crossdresser Bobrisky alleged that Falz and his father, human rights lawyer Femi Falana, sought a presidential pardon for Bobrisky in exchange for N10 million while she was serving a sentence for naira abuse.

Bobrisky later labeled the recording as “fake” and threatened legal action against VeryDarkMan for defamation. In response, Falz and his father demanded a public apology and a retraction of the statements, leading an Ikeja high court to order VeryDarkMan to refrain from spreading defamatory remarks.

During his appearance on the Afrobeats podcast, Falz recounted his conversation with VeryDarkMan, who allegedly challenged him to take legal action. Falz expressed disappointment over the activist's defensiveness and the lack of evidence for the claims made. He condemned the accusations as "horrible" and questioned whether the legal conflict was an attempt by VeryDarkMan to gain attention.
