Femi Fani-Kayode urges Nigerians to have faith, stay steadfast amid tough economic times. APC chieftain backs government's policies for recovery, calls for unity.

Femi Fani-Kayode, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Aviation Minister, has called on Nigerians to remain steadfast in their faith and prayers amid the current economic challenges. In a post on his social media handle on Thursday, Fani-Kayode encouraged citizens to continue supporting President Bola Tinubu's administration despite the prevailing hardships.

Fani-Kayode expressed optimism about the Federal Government's policies, asserting that the tough measures being implemented would eventually yield positive outcomes. He acknowledged the difficult path chosen for economic recovery, emphasizing that the current pain and sacrifices are necessary for a better future.

"Things are tough but I urge Nigerians to hang in there and continue to have faith in God and in our Government who in my view are trying their best in the circumstances," he stated. "We have chosen a difficult, challenging yet necessary path to economic recovery and despite the undoubted pain that we are ALL experiencing we must stay the course, swallow the bitter pill, make the necessary sacrifices and see our journey to the expected end to establish a better tomorrow for our children and loved ones."

Fani-Kayode also called on Nigerians to set aside political differences and work together to support the government's economic recovery efforts. He stressed the importance of unity and collaboration in moving the country forward.

"This is not the time to play party politics or to blame one another but rather to encourage each other, join hands, assist the government, have faith in God and move the country forward together. The Lord never told us that it would be easy but be rest assured of one thing: He didn’t bring us this far to leave us," he added.

Fani-Kayode's remarks come at a time when many Nigerians are grappling with economic hardships, urging collective effort and faith in overcoming the challenges.
