According to Sahara Reporters, Nigerian police operatives from the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) are currently questioning Pastor Bolaji Idowu, the founder and lead pastor of Harvesters International Christian Center (HICC). The investigation focuses on allegations of real estate fraud and money laundering.
Idowu, who is well known for hosting the "Next-Level Prayer Conference," was reportedly arrested and brought in for questioning by the police, where he remains under investigation. Sources close to the investigation confirmed his detention in Abuja, with a police insider stating, "Pastor Bolaji Idowu is at the FCID Abuja as we speak, being grilled over real estate fraud and money laundering."
Pastor Idowu founded HICC in 2003, and the church has grown significantly over the years. It now boasts a large global presence, with locations in Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
