The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared incumbent Christopher Maikalangu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) chairmanship election. Collation Officer Prof. Andrew Abue announced that Maikalangu scored 40,295 votes out of 62,861 valid votes cast.
