The Federal Government has awarded substantial cash prizes to outstanding teachers at the National Teachers’ Summit 2026 in Abuja. Francis Taiwo Solanke, a primary school teacher from Ogun State, received N50 million as the overall Best Teacher of the Year. Twelve other teachers were awarded N25 million each.
