Former PDP Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, implicates lack of revenue access in Rivers State as a key factor behind Governor Siminalayi Fubara's challenges. Accusations against Nyesom Wike for exacerbating tensions highlight calls for transparency and intervention.

In a recent development, former national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, unveils the underlying tensions in Rivers State, attributing them to Governor Siminalayi Fubara's restriction of access to state funds.

Secondus, through his media aide, Ike Abonyi, highlights the governor's actions, alleging a clampdown on unauthorized access to state revenues, which has consequently led to his vilification.

He further implicates former Rivers State governor and current Federal Capital Territory (FCT) minister, Nyesom Wike, in exacerbating political discord, urging him to allow Fubara to fulfill his mandate. Secondus accuses Wike of orchestrating media attacks against Fubara and other state leaders, branding them as unwarranted and diversionary.

Reflecting on Wike's tenure, Secondus raises questions about the utilization of state funds, urging transparency and accountability. Amidst escalating tensions, Secondus calls on President Bola Tinubu to intervene and restrain Wike, emphasizing the need to prioritize the interests of Rivers State residents.
