Rev. Sam Aboyeji, the General Overseer of the Foursquare Gospel Church Nigeria, has called on Nigerians to utilize the power of praise, prayer, and faith to navigate the country's challenges. Speaking at the 69th annual national convention of the Foursquare Gospel Church Nigeria, held from November 11-17, 2024, in Ogun State, Aboyeji urged the nation to remain hopeful and committed to faith in the face of difficulties.

Referring to Psalm 34:1, he emphasized the importance of thanksgiving, urging Nigerians to appreciate the gift of life and the nation despite its struggles. "The situation in Nigeria may seem irredeemable, but with God, all things are possible," he stated, stressing the need to trust in divine intervention.

Aboyeji further outlined the importance of applying the right spiritual tools to overcome adversity. "We must use the instrument of praise, prayer, and faith," he said, encouraging Nigerians to remain steadfast as they work through the nation's problems. He expressed optimism, adding that God will restore Nigeria to its former glory.

The convention, themed "God of Wonders," ended with a call for 40 days of prayer and fasting, beginning on December 24, 2024, in anticipation of the church’s 70th anniversary. As the nation faces uncertainty, the Foursquare Gospel Church remains a source of faith and resilience for many Nigerians.
