The Digest:
The All Progressives Congress has released the names of 47 senatorial aspirants who were not cleared to participate in its Senate primary elections ahead of the 2027 general elections. The list, made public by National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka, includes former Bayelsa East senator Ben Murray-Bruce and Benson Agadaga. Rivers West senatorial district had the highest number of disqualified aspirants (four), followed by Zamfara with seven across its districts. The APC did not provide specific reasons for the disqualifications.
