Napoli's Giovanni Manna reveals that several clubs are willing to meet Victor Osimhen's €75 million price tag, but Galatasaray cannot afford him. Despite an ambitious plan involving bank loans and sponsors, other clubs like Newcastle and Al Hilal are ready to sign Osimhen in the summer transfer window.
Napoli's sporting director, Giovanni Manna, has revealed that numerous clubs are now prepared to meet their €75 million valuation for Victor Osimhen. However, Galatasaray, the club currently hosting the Nigerian striker on loan, cannot afford to sign him permanently.
Despite the Turkish champions' ambitious plans to secure Osimhen’s services, including taking out a bank loan and collaborating with major sponsors, Manna confirmed that the club's current financial situation does not allow for such a hefty purchase. In an interview with Sabah newspaper, Manna stated, "Galatasaray does not have the budget to pay 75 million Euros at the moment. Other teams that want Osimhen are ready to pay this amount."
Among those interested in the prolific striker are Premier League side Newcastle United and top Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal, the latter of which has sparked a fan-driven campaign urging the club to secure Osimhen.
Napoli, aware of the rising interest in their star forward, has also considered terminating Osimhen’s loan early in January, provided that Galatasaray compensates them financially. The ongoing situation leaves Osimhen’s future uncertain, with the potential for a high-profile move in the upcoming transfer window.
This news adds a new layer to the already intense transfer speculation surrounding the Super Eagles forward, who has been instrumental in Napoli's successes.
