APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje has pledged to integrate Anambra with Nigeria’s central government, urging the southeast to embrace the ruling party for national benefits. Speaking at the party’s secretariat launch in Awka, he emphasized APC’s commitment to winning the November 8 election and driving regional development.
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has vowed to integrate Anambra State with Nigeria’s central government ahead of the upcoming gubernatorial election.
Speaking at the commissioning of the APC state secretariat in Awka, Ganduje emphasized the importance of the southeast aligning with the ruling party. He urged the region to embrace APC to gain access to national governance and economic benefits. He described the Igbo people as highly nationalistic and encouraged them to participate actively in national politics rather than remaining on the political sidelines.
Ganduje highlighted the federal government’s ongoing reforms under President Bola Tinubu, citing improvements in security, oil production, and economic stability. He insisted that aligning with APC would ensure Anambra benefits from these national developments.
During the event, APC governorship aspirant Prof. Obiora Okonkwo pledged to lead a strong campaign to secure victory for the party in the November 8 election. He promised to bring significant transformation to Anambra if given the mandate.
The event saw a strong turnout of APC supporters, signaling the party’s growing influence in the state. Ganduje reaffirmed APC’s commitment to securing more southeastern states, emphasizing that political integration with the federal government is essential for regional development.
With the election approaching, APC aims to strengthen its foothold in Anambra, leveraging its national presence to sway voters. The party remains optimistic about its chances, banking on Ganduje’s outreach and the appeal of federal alignment.
