The 82nd Golden Globe Awards celebrated cinematic and television excellence, with “Emilia Perez,” a surreal narco-musical, dominating the evening by securing four awards, including Best Musical or Comedy Film. Brady Corbet’s “The Brutalist” emerged as the Best Drama Film and also earned accolades for Best Director and Best Actor, Adrien Brody.

In the acting categories, Fernanda Torres won Best Actress in a Drama for “I’m Still Here,” while Demi Moore claimed Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical for “The Substance.” Sebastian Stan was recognized as Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical for “A Different Man.”

Television winners included “Shogun” for Best Drama Series, with its stars Hiroyuki Sanada and Anna Sawai earning Best Actor and Actress awards, respectively. “Hacks” won Best Comedy Series, with Jeremy Allen White and Jean Smart honored for their performances.

Other notable winners included “Flow” for Best Animated Feature, “Emilia Perez” for Best Non-English Language Film, and “Wicked” for Best Cinematic and Box Office Achievement.
