Google has launched the Pixel 9, marking a significant leap in AI integration while maintaining a competitive price of $799. This latest addition to the Pixel lineup is driven by the Tensor G4 chip and comes with 12GB of RAM, ensuring robust performance. The Pixel 9 features a 6.3-inch Actua display protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2, offering a resolution of 1080 x 2424.

The rear camera system showcases a redesigned setup with a central island housing a 50MP main lens and a 48MP ultrawide lens. The main camera supports Google’s Super Res zoom at 8x, and the ultrawide lens includes an enhanced macro mode for detailed close-up shots. New and improved features include "Add Me," which allows users to merge photos for perfect group shots, and Satellite SOS, which provides emergency connectivity via satellite when traditional signals are unavailable.

Other highlights include an improved 4,700mAh battery with fast charging capabilities—reaching 55% in 30 minutes with the optional 45W USB-C charger. The Pixel 9 will run on Android 14 and is guaranteed seven years of OS and security updates. Available in Obsidian, Porcelain, Wintergreen, and Peony, the Pixel 9 will be offered in the US, Canada, and various European and Asian markets.
