Gospel artist Mercy Chinwo has accused her former manager, Ezekiel ThankGod (Eezeetee), of forgery, mismanagement, and verbal abuse. Allegations include contract tampering, withheld revenues, and career threats. Despite reconciliation efforts, disputes over a contested management contract persist.

Gospel artist Mercy Chinwo has publicly addressed the challenges she faced with her former manager, Ezekiel ThankGod (Eezeetee). Their professional relationship, which began in 2017, evolved from mentorship to a contentious partnership. Initially collaborative, their rapport soured when Eezeetee allegedly pressured her into extending a five-year management contract to twelve years, which she declined.

Chinwo recounted verbal and emotional abuse, including threats to her career, as well as instances of mismanagement, such as rejecting event invitations on her behalf without her knowledge. She also alleged forgery, claiming Eezeetee altered the dates on a new contract drafted in 2019 to appear as the original 2017 document. This substituted contract granted Eezeetee lifetime ownership of her music.

Despite attempts at reconciliation, including gifting Eezeetee a car, tensions persisted. Chinwo also accused him of withholding her publishing revenues and misreporting digital earnings. After the contract’s expiration in 2022, Eezeetee allegedly sought to enforce an extension, citing incomplete album commitments based on the disputed 2019 terms.

Chinwo’s legal team has called for clarity and accountability, challenging Eezeetee to disclose the original contract publicly. The matter highlights the importance of transparency in artist-management relationships.
