Gospel producer Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu denies Mercy Chinwo's allegations of $345,000 misappropriation, claiming they are baseless. Onyedikachukwu asserts he discovered and developed Chinwo’s talent under a five-year contract. His lawyer alleges false EFCC claims and vows to overturn the arrest warrant through legal proceedings. The case continues in January 2025.

Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu, founder of Eeze Conceptz Limited, has refuted allegations made by gospel singer Mercy Chinwo, claiming they are baseless and fabricated. Represented by his lawyer, Maxwell Opara, Onyedikachukwu stated that he discovered Chinwo in 2017, nurtured her talent, and elevated her career in gospel music.

According to Onyedikachukwu, Chinwo violated a contractual agreement with Eeze Conceptz, which outlined a five-year artist management and record label partnership. The producer denied accusations of misappropriating $345,000 in royalties, asserting that an audit by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) found no evidence of wrongdoing during his detention earlier this year.

Opara emphasized that Onyedikachukwu was never Chinwo’s manager but her producer, responsible for her rise to prominence. He accused Chinwo and the EFCC of presenting false claims to secure an arrest warrant against his client, despite knowing his whereabouts.

Legal action has been initiated to overturn the arrest warrant and address what Onyedikachukwu’s team describes as a smear campaign. The producer’s camp urged the public to dismiss any misleading narratives and expressed confidence in the court's ability to deliver justice.
