This statement came in response to the Appeal Court's decision to reinstate the 27 lawmakers of the Rivers State House of Assembly. Addressing journalists in Khana, Khana Local Government Area, Fubara expressed confidence in God's guidance, referencing Psalms 23:5, which speaks of divine support in the presence of adversaries.
Fubara acknowledged the challenges faced by his government but assured the people of Rivers State that these obstacles would not deter them. He emphasized his commitment to fulfilling the promises made to the citizens and continuing to provide good governance despite the difficulties. "We have made our promises, and we will continue to give you good governance, no matter how difficult it is," he stated.
