Governor Hope Uzodimma declares no protests from Southeast against President Tinubu, sparking mixed reactions and debate over regional unity and dissent.
Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State emphatically declared during a recent APC campaign event in Abakaliki that there would be no protests from the Southeast against the federal government under President Bola Tinubu.
Urging the region's youth to reject calls for protests, Uzodimma labeled proponents of such actions as enemies of national stability. He emphasized that the current administration is diligently addressing economic challenges and encouraged patience, noting the government's efforts in funding, infrastructure development, and food security.
As chairman of the Southeast Governors' Forum, Uzodimma underscored unity with the federal government, asserting that grievances should be managed internally without external agitation.
