Pastor Bolaji Idowu, Lead Pastor of Harvesters International Christian Center, denies arrest and involvement in real estate fraud and money laundering. In a statement during his prayer program, he clarifies he has no properties in Nigeria and invites scrutiny of his transparent financial dealings, addressing widespread rumors.

Pastor Bolaji Idowu, Lead Pastor of Harvesters International Christian Center (HICC), has publicly denied claims of his arrest and involvement in real estate fraud and money laundering. The pastor addressed these allegations during his Next Level Prayer program on December 4, 2024, refuting social media reports that had sparked widespread rumors.

Idowu clarified that he does not engage in real estate, emphasizing that he owns only one known property in Nigeria and does not buy or sell properties. He also dismissed financial misconduct allegations, stating that his accounts are transparent and open to public scrutiny. “Go and check if I ever received billions into my accounts,” he asserted.

The rumors began after Sahara Reporters published a story claiming that Pastor Idowu was arrested and under investigation by the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) of the Nigerian police for alleged financial crimes. Pastor Idowu, who is widely recognized for his leadership of HICC and popular prayer programs, continues to lead the church, which has a strong presence in Nigeria, the UK, and the United States.
