Lagos hotel CEO McDonald Okpara has been arrested following allegations of sexual assault against a minor. The suspect admitted to the act but denied ritual involvement. The case was reported by a victim's mother to local police, leading to an investigation by Zone 2 command regarding incidents involving two minors.

McDonald Okpara, CEO of Leuven Empire Hotel in Ejigbo, Lagos, has confessed to engaging in sodomy with a 16-year-old secondary school student. The incident came to light after the mother of one of the victims reported the case to the Isheri-Osun police division. Okpara was subsequently arrested by the Zone 2 police command, which is investigating allegations involving two minors.

In a video released by TVC News, Okpara admitted to having anal sex with the teenager but vehemently denied any involvement in money rituals or diabolical practices. He swore on the memory of his late parents and his children, insisting that the act was purely sexual and not linked to any spiritual or ritualistic purposes. “I swear with my life that it is only sex that I had with him, and I never used him for money ritual,” Okpara stated. He also clarified that the act occurred at his residence, not at his hotel.

The case has sparked public outrage, with many calling for stricter enforcement of laws protecting minors from sexual exploitation. Okpara remains in police custody as investigations continue. The incident highlights
