Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of RCCG, shared how Redemption City, once a haven for robbers and pythons, transformed into a spiritual epicenter. Reflecting on 41 years of faith, he urged believers to trust in God’s power to overcome challenges, reinforcing that with God, nothing is impossible.

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), recounted the miraculous transformation of Redemption City during Day 6 of the RCCG Holy Ghost Congress 2024. Reflecting on the city’s past, he described it as once being the headquarters of highway robbers and dangerous wildlife, including pythons, 41 years ago. Despite its treacherous beginnings, Adeboye emphasized that with unwavering faith and divine guidance, nothing was impossible. He recalled how they battled poisonous snakes, with one python reaching over five meters in length.

Adeboye shared the challenges faced during the construction of Redemption City, which was initially swampy and prone to flooding. One of the major obstacles was a deep river beneath the land, but through faith and determination, they overcame it, holding the first Congress despite the flooding. He encouraged the congregation to embrace the spirit of Caleb and Joshua, who believed that with God’s power, any challenge could be conquered.

In his message, Adeboye urged believers to never doubt God's promises, affirming that they are already blessed and that nothing can stop them when God is on their side. He concluded the service by blessing the congregation, reinforcing their faith in the miraculous and prophetic power of God. His speech served as an inspiration, urging the faithful to believe in God's capacity to change the impossible into possible.
