Bafana Bafana of South Africa's head coach, Hugo Broos, is set to unveil his final squad on Thursday, May 30, for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria and Zimbabwe.

Earlier this month, Broos announced a preliminary 36-man squad for the qualifiers, with matches scheduled for June 7 and June 11 against Nigeria and Zimbabwe, respectively. Notable players from the AFCON 2023 finals, including Ronwen Williams, Themba Zwane, Percy Tau, Teboho Mokoena, and Khuliso Mudau, are expected to feature in Broos' squad.

Additionally, Orlando Pirates' emerging talent, Relebohile Mofokeng, receives his first call-up following impressive club performances, alongside Stellenbosch defender Thabo Moloisane.

The final 23-man squad announcement, as reported by Sowetan Live, will determine the team's composition for the qualifiers. Bafana Bafana currently holds the second position with three points in Group C, while the Eagles are third with two points.
