Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has announced his intention to pursue legal action against a Turkish journalist who accused him of physical assault following a Galatasaray match against Konyaspor.
The journalist claimed Osimhen struck him after a disagreement over unauthorized photography. Osimhen has vehemently denied the allegations, labeling them as fabrications.
“I never hit anyone,” Osimhen said. “I confronted them about taking my photos without permission, but no physical altercation occurred.”
The Galatasaray forward emphasized his confidence in the judicial process, stating, “If I’m guilty, justice will prevail. If not, those spreading falsehoods should be held accountable.”
Osimhen, a key figure for Galatasaray, scored the decisive goal in Saturday's Super Lig match, continuing his impressive form.
