US rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs' homes in Los Angeles and Miami were raided by Homeland Security officials on Monday as part of an ongoing investigation.
Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and local law enforcement partners, conducted the law enforcement actions.
Further details were not immediately available, with HSI stating that more information would be provided as it becomes available.
The raid comes amidst mounting legal troubles for Combs, as producer Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones recently filed a $30 million civil suit against him, alleging sexual misconduct and other illegal activities.
This lawsuit marks the fifth legal action against Combs, following a suit filed by his ex, Cassandra "Cassie" Ventura, last November.
Ventura's suit accused Combs of sexual assault, physical abuse, and sex trafficking, among other allegations.
These lawsuits collectively allege a pattern of criminal behavior allegedly covered up by Combs' influence and resources, tarnishing his reputation in the process.
