JAMB reschedules the 2025 Mock UTME from April 5 to April 10 to complete preparations and introduce new improvements. The main UTME remains unchanged, starting April 25. Candidates are advised to stay updated on their Mock Notification Slip for important details on exam centres and other information.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced a new date for the 2025 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), rescheduling it from April 5 to April 10, 2025. This change was made to allow for more time to finalize preparations and implement innovations aimed at improving the exam experience.
While the Mock UTME has been moved, the main UTME remains on schedule to begin on April 25, 2025. JAMB clarified that the Mock UTME serves as an optional test for candidates to practice and familiarize themselves with the exam environment before the main exam.
Candidates who are registered for the Mock UTME are encouraged to keep an eye out for announcements regarding the printing of their Mock Notification Slip, which will provide crucial details, including their exam centres.
JAMB also provided clarification on the technical setup, stating that the UTME will not be conducted online but via a Local Area Network (LAN), ensuring a secure and reliable examination process. Over 2 million candidates have registered for the 2025 UTME, and 200,115 of them have opted for the Mock UTME.
