Jay-Z and Diddy face a shocking lawsuit alleging sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl at 2000 MTV VMAs after-party. The anonymous lawsuit, filed by Texas attorney Tony Buzbee, details a traumatic incident involving both music industry icons, who strongly deny the accusations.
According to a recent NBC News report, Jay-Z and Sean "Diddy" Combs have been accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl in 2000 at an MTV Video Music Awards after-party. The lawsuit, filed by Texas attorney Tony Buzbee, details a shocking allegation of sexual misconduct involving the two high-profile music industry figures.
The anonymous plaintiff, identified as "Jane Doe," alleges she was invited to the after-party by a limousine driver who claimed she "fit what Diddy was looking for." Upon arrival, she was required to sign what she believed was a non-disclosure agreement and was offered a drink that left her feeling disoriented . According to the lawsuit, Combs and Jay-Z entered the room where she was resting, with Combs allegedly saying, "You are ready to party!"
The accuser claims Jay-Z stripped her, held her down, and raped her while Combs and another unnamed celebrity watched. She alleges Combs subsequently assaulted her, and she managed to resist further advances by striking him. Jay-Z vehemently denied the allegations, calling them "idiotic" and expressing concern about the impact on his family, particularly his children. Combs, who is currently in custody facing separate sex trafficking charges, has also denied all accusations through his legal representatives.
The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages and was filed under New York's Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Act. A spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney's Office declined to comment on potential criminal proceedings related to the allegations.
