The initiative aims to support the needy, including hospital patients and care facility residents, highlighting justice and charity.

On Sunday, Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf launched the distribution of meat from 700 cows to 5,600 individuals across the state, a gesture organized by the German charitable organization HASENE in partnership with the BARIS Foundation. This initiative is part of the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations for the year 1445AH.

During the event at Bayero University, Governor Yusuf expressed his appreciation for the charitable act, highlighting the positive impact it would have on the lives of many in need. He emphasized the importance of justice and reverence for Allah in the execution of the project.

The governor urged those responsible for the distribution to ensure fairness and to uphold their responsibilities with integrity. He also suggested extending the meat distribution to patients in hospitals, residents of care facilities, and the homeless.

Muhammad Aydin, one of the project sponsors, mentioned that their visit to Kano was to celebrate Sallah and share sacrificial meat with the local Muslim community. He expressed gratitude for the warm reception from both the Kano State government and its people.

This initiative aims to uplift spirits and provide support to those in need, embodying the essence of Eid-el-Kabir through acts of charity and kindness.
