On "Piers Morgan Uncensored," the outspoken British broadcaster revealed the names of two royals allegedly expressing concerns about the skin color of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son, Archie. The revelation, stemming from Dutch copies of Omid Scobie's book, "Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival," points fingers at King Charles III and Princess Kate Middleton.
The book details private letters from Markle to Charles, discussing alleged "troubling" conversations surrounding Archie's complexion. While the English version avoids naming names due to libel laws, Dutch translations inadvertently disclosed the identities. Morgan, although skeptical of any racist comments, argues that British citizens, who financially support the royal family, have a right to know.
Scobie's publisher, Xander Uitgevers, is swiftly rectifying the Dutch translation error. The controversy resurfaces Markle's earlier claim, made during an interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021, about "several" discussions on Archie's potential skin color, leaving the royal family and the public grappling with these startling revelations.
