The Lagos State Government has cautioned Nollywood actress Sarah Martins against cooking and distributing food on public roads, warning that the activity violates environmental and public order regulations. Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources Tokunbo Wahab issued the warning on X, stating: "Cooking or trading on public infrastructure poses safety, sanitation and traffic concerns." Wahab disclosed that Martins had been previously cautioned about similar activity last year but was allowed to continue due to the philanthropic intention. He advised her to desist to "avoid apprehension and prosecution," and to channel charitable outreach through approved locations and proper channels. "We expect everyone to be law-abiding in Lagos, just as they would be in any other well-regulated city," the commissioner added.
