The Digest:

The Lagos State Police Command has announced that physical and credential screening for applicants in the 2025/2026 constable recruitment exercise will commence on Monday, March 9, 2026. Command spokesperson SP Abimbola Adebisi stated that the screening will run daily from 7:00 a.m. until April 18 at the Police College, Ikeja. The exercise is specifically for Lagos State indigenes who successfully completed online registration for General Duty and Specialist Police Constables positions. Applicants must appear in clean white T-shirts and shorts with documents neatly arranged in two white flat files. Required documents include the invitation slip, credential screening form, National Identity Number printout, O'Level certificate, birth certificate, Local Government certificate, and for specialists, trade test certificates. A completed guarantors' form with referees' photographs is also required. Adebisi emphasized the screening is free and urged the public to report anyone demanding payment.
