Aribemchukwu, daughter of Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia, was found murdered in her Lagos home. Three domestic staff have been arrested in connection with her death. The tragic incident occurred on July 31, 2024, raising concerns about the safety of household employees.

On the morning of July 31, 2024, Lagos State was rocked by the shocking discovery of Aribemchukwu’s lifeless body. Aribemchukwu, the daughter of Federal High Court judge Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia, was found dead at her residence in Parkview Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos. The medical doctor, recently married, was reportedly killed on the night of July 30. Her body was discovered outside her home early the next day.

According to family sources, there are indications that her death involved foul play. The sources suggest that the newly employed domestic staff might have been involved, noting suspicious signs including an attempted cleanup of blood at the scene. The staff hired less than a month ago, were allegedly the only ones present in the house at the time of the incident.

Lagos State Police Command has since arrested three individuals in connection with the case, including a driver and two maids. SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the command's spokesperson, confirmed the arrests and the ongoing investigation. He assured that further details will be shared as the investigation progresses.
