A significant fire outbreak occurred at the High Commission of Canada in Nigeria's capital, Abuja, on Monday morning. The fire impacted parts of the building located at 13010G, Palm Close, Diplomatic Drive, Central Business District. As a precautionary measure, the building was evacuated by staff.
While the exact details of the incident remained unclear at the time of reporting, the Head of Operations of the FCT Fire Service, Amiola Adebayo, disclosed that at least three individuals had been rushed to the hospital. Among them were two individuals with severe injuries, and the remaining victims were receiving medical attention, totaling three or four injured individuals.
