Millions of people participated in "Hands Off!" protests across the U.S. and globally, organized against President Trump and Elon Musk's influence. The movement demands an end to the billionaire takeover, cuts to federal programs, and the protection of marginalized communities.

On Saturday, millions of individuals participated in "Hands Off!" protests organized against President Donald Trump and Elon Musk across all 50 states and globally. The protests were sparked by concerns over what organizers called a "hostile takeover" of American rights and freedoms by billionaire elites. According to reports, more than 1,400 protests took place at various locations, including state capitols, federal buildings, and city halls. The aim was to raise awareness and call for action against what the movement describes as growing corporate influence in government.

The protests, led by a pro-democracy coalition comprising civil rights groups, labor unions, veterans, and LGBTQ+ advocates, emphasized three main demands: an end to the power of billionaires like Trump and Musk, the protection of federal programs like Medicaid and Social Security, and an end to discriminatory policies targeting marginalized communities, including immigrants and trans people.

Event organizers claimed that nearly 600,000 people had signed up to participate, with major protests also held in cities such as London and Paris. Demonstrators emphasized the need to address what they saw as the ongoing corruption and undermining of democracy. The "Hands Off!" movement seeks to build a visible, national rejection of these issues, calling for reform and greater accountability from political leaders and corporate figures.
