In a recent development, the Organized Labour has cautioned certain governors against advocating policies that could lead Nigeria into a state of resentment, misery, and impoverishment.
The warning follows President Bola Tinubu's pending decision on proposals from the Tripartite Committee on the National Minimum Wage. While the government and private sector proposed N62,000, labour insists on N250,000.
The Labour spokesperson emphasized that any figure Tinubu supports will determine their course of action, highlighting concerns over delays during recent public holidays.
The Labour dismissed immediate strike action, urging patience for a conclusive government response amid dissenting voices from governors, stressing that not all issues warrant strikes.
