Joel Waksi, the missing journalist from Liberty TV/Radio, has tragically been found dead in Abuja, ending a five-day search after his disappearance. According to Balarabe Muhammad, group general manager of Atar Communication, Waksi's body was discovered near Panteka in Mpape, FCT, and later taken to a Kubwa hospital morgue.
Reports indicate he was stabbed, with his phone missing, suggesting a possible robbery. Waksi, who was on a scheduled break, was due to return to work but failed to show up, sparking concern among colleagues.
FCT Police authorities are investigating the incident.
