Adura Aloba, the brother of late Nigerian singer Mohbad, denies claims by actor Yomi Fabiyi that he sought ₦3 million for a video showing Mohbad fighting his wife. Adura clarifies that the video is three years old and dismisses allegations linking it to Mohbad’s death and burial.

Adura Aloba, the younger brother of late Nigerian musician Mohbad, has denied claims made by actor Yomi Fabiyi that he sought ₦3 million in exchange for a video showing Mohbad fighting his wife, Wunmi. Speaking at a press conference demanding justice for his brother, Adura clarified that the video in question was recorded three years ago by Mohbad himself and was stored on his phone. He emphasized that he never offered the video to Fabiyi, dismissing the actor's allegations.

Fabiyi had previously stated that Adura contacted him via direct message, offering the video and discussing an incident where Mohbad allegedly fell down the stairs after a confrontation with his wife. The actor also linked the video to the singer’s burial, claiming it was connected to Mohbad’s broken neck and the circumstances surrounding his hasty burial.

Adura, however, refuted these claims, asserting that the case surrounding his brother’s death is already in court, and he would never conceal information that could aid in seeking justice. The controversy over the video has fueled further confusion regarding the singer's untimely death in September 2023. The late musician’s family is continuing to demand clarity and justice as investigations into his death proceed.
