Joseph Aloba, father of the late Nigerian artist Mohbad, has opened up about the profound changes in his life since his son’s controversial passing on September 11, 2023, at the age of 26.
In a candid interview with media personality Akin Abolade, Aloba described how his life improved due to divine intervention and support from compassionate Nigerians. "My life got better after Mohbad’s death," Aloba shared, attributing the assistance he’s received to the combined spirit of his son and God.
Aloba revealed that he has been gifted several assets, including a car and a truck, by well-wishers inspired to support him. He believes these blessings are a testament to his late son's spiritual presence.
The grieving father also shed light on Mohbad’s struggles before his passing, lamenting how many of his plans were obstructed. He alleged that Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi, and her family control much of the late singer’s estate, including properties meant for the family.
Recalling Mohbad’s aspirations, Aloba mentioned that his son planned to purchase a house for him after completing a tour. Tragically, the house was paid for but never delivered due to his untimely death.
